For access to services your GP is a good first port of call, if you are prepared to wait for an appointment.
Otherwise the local Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) should be able to provide more immediate support.
Brent Community Mental Health services are made up of three main teams:
- For emergencies, Brent’s Single Point of Access provides 24-hour, all year round access (call 0800 0234 650 or email cnw-tr.spa@nhs.net). There should be a face to face response within four hours in an emergency. The local team carries out core and risk assessments.
- The Home Treatment and Rapid Response team helps keep people at home.
- There are two CMHTs. For those with a GP in the north of the borough, the number is 0208 937 6360; for those with a GP in the south, the number is 020 8937 2736.
